দয়াল (The Compassionate)
The sacred land of Tarapeeth(West Bengal, India) crematorium buzzes with the Baul song and the chanting of goddess Tara by a man who roams barefoot whole life, as a part of his practice and meditates within the rituals of life. He is Kanai Das Baul (Blind by birth), the legendary Baul practionar of India. Singing is meditation to him. The documentary is a chronicle of his evolution to a Baul philosopher(In Baul philosophy the human body is accorded the highest value. According to them, the human body is the microcosm of the universe. They consider the human body as a temple where the Supreme Lord resides.), his understanding of spirituality through Baul songs, and his integrative relationship with the life of the crematorium.
আত্মকাম (Solitary Sex)
Solitary sex is a
visual discourse of symbolic representation of masturbation. this hyper
simulation of mind does not know where to stop. it is basically male gaze
expression where he runs from one image to another image, overlapping with each
other. because of solitary, there are no any social restriction and relation.
everything are boundless, endless like a dead animal drifting towards no
address.
WITH WITHOUT WITHIN
The film "With Without Within"
delves into the essence of a picture, exploring the primary elements sought
within the image. "With" represents the emotions we carry inside,
driving us to actively seek out these images, while "without"
signifies what remains elusive. Yet, deep within, these emotions persist,
encapsulated by "within." This exploration, both external and
internal, becomes a journey of our lives, exhausting yet perpetual, as we
continue to search and return.
TRITIYA – the third
TRITIYA – the third, is a documentary on the fierce journey of a transgender poetess and social activist Rani Mazumdar. It showcases Rani’s fight against the social and political challenges and her desires of being a trans person.
